This core service can take you from start to finish on a project of any size and scope. We’ll gather all the project information, develop design concepts, prepare necessary construction drawings, and work with your general contractor through implementation. Read more.
We follow the industry standard process which can be tailored to fit your extensive remodel or your small renovation. Depending on the scope of your project, some phases may be combined or omitted:
Programming - During Programming, we’ll sit down with you to identify your needs and wants, both quantitative and qualitative, and outline the scope of your project.
Schematic Design - This is the conceptual design phase which may include sketches, loose floor plans, inspirational images, etc.
Design Development - We will work out the finer points, including selecting materials & finishes, finalizing floor plans and elevations, and possibly creating some 3D renderings. Depending on your needs and the scope of the project, we utilize CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) as well as good, old-fashioned hand-sketching.
Construction Documentation - This stage is intended to communicate the design intent to the Contractor, or the professional doing the work. This may include floor plans, ceiling/lighting plans, power/signal plans, finish plans, elevations, details, and schedules for items like doors, windows, and lighting.
Construction Administration - While the project is being built, we will respond to contractor inquiries for clarifications on the drawings, or to address any unexpected existing conditions, as well as visit the jobsite to verify the design intent is being carried out.

Custom Millwork & Furniture Design
We can design free-standing furniture or built-in cabinetry such as bookcases, entertainment centers, and wet bars, that are customized to your space and lifestyle. We’ll create conceptual drawings and review shop drawings to ensure your dream design is realized. Read more.

Color Consultation

One of our favorite things to do is to create a black and white frameable hand drawing of the home’s exterior. It makes a great piece of custom artwork for your home or a unique personalized gift.
